Abstract

The NEXUS platform delivers location-based information and provides additional supporting services enabling intelligent location-based applications. Its architecture is open for both new applications and new information providers, similar to the WWW. The Augmented World Model is a common data model for location-based information. Our platform uses this model to federate such information from different providers into an integrated view for the applications. An example application shows the usage of this platform.
