Abstract

The VIT System is an early prototype developed within the context of the NEXUS project for demonstrating location-based information access. One important issue when designing an application is to find a suitable concept for user interaction. Information has to be shown in an intuitive way so that everyone can handle the system and understands what is going on. Therefore an easily understandable metaphor for visualizing the information is needed.
