Kurzfassung

In this bachelor thesis I implemented a virtual reality application. The goal of this application is to help people with color vision deficiencies to distinguish between different colors. This is a challenge for people with color vision deficiencies. The best known color vision deficiency is red-green color blindness. I use three methods to realise this. First I use the so called daltonization. This is an image effect, that recolors different, wrong perceived colors. Trough this the colors are perceived different, helping users to distinguish them. Based on the daltonisation is the second method create, additionally outlining the the affected colors. This shows were the affected colors are and critical areas in the field of view. The third method gives a acoustic feedback about the color. Though this more senses are combined to make up for the missing parts of the color spectrum of a person with color vision deficiency. To test the implemented helping application a study was designed. It is presented in this work as basis for additional testing.
