Kurzfassung

With current trends of research being increasingly collaborative the desire of improving reproducibility and reuse of scientific investigations has become more and more important. Just publishing a paper with the results of the research offers only limited possibilities in terms of reproducibility. So the question arises what has to be published to give the possibility to repeat scientific experiments to validate their results. Besides the research results scientists need public access to the corresponding research software and data. The question is how reusability of scientific experiments and results can be enabled. This thesis provides an approach that enables the packaging of scientific knowledge as well as the automated provisioning and management of modelled applications. This is achieved by first discussing the recent technologies which are used. Then the approach will be explained and discussed on how it wants to achieve the set goals. And finally, as a validation for the conceptual approach, an implementation of a prototype is provided.
