Kurzfassung

Everyday, thousands of Software Engineers are using Scrum as a framework to develop Software in record time. Indeed, as various studies show, it is used more and more in different kinds of industries, not strictly related to IT. This begs the question, how and why does Scrum work? Not only in the sense of the technical side of Scrum, but rather the psychological and human aspect. This bachelor thesis strives to retrofit the individual parts of Scrum in theoretical concepts from the behavioral and cognitive psychology fields. This will be achieved by doing an Integrative Literature Review (ILR) on the topics of Scrum and Psychology.
