Abstract

Human trust in Automation is an often neglected factor when planning routes for automated vehicles. In this thesis, we want to build a trust based route planner with the help of HTN planning. In this thesis, we write domain and problem input files for the Utility Aware HTN planner and compute ideal plans for driving from one point to another under different aspects and goals of trust gain, such as maximizing or minimizing the expected trust gain, or computing a route which is the most user-friendly.
