Abstract

Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in solving real-world problems is getting increasingly popular. The solution of such problems often requires AI planning systems. However, AI planning systems are complex and there can be many challenges in creating such systems. To give an overview of challenges when engineering AI planning systems, we conduct a Systematic Literature Review. We have shown that this is a largely unexplored problem, although there has been a lot of research for constructing AI planning systems for real-world problems.
