Abstract

In theever-evolvinglandscapeofmobileapplicationdevelopment,choosingthe rightframeworkforyourgoalsignificantlyinfluencesperformance,development speed,andoverallefficiency.Thisthesispresentsacomprehensivecomparisonbe- tweenthetwoleadingcross-platformdevelopmentframeworks,FlutterandReact Native,todeterminetheirsuitabilityfordifferentprojectrequirements.Utilizing a systematicapproach,thisstudyevaluatesbothframeworksbasedoncriteria suchasperformance,developerproductivity,communitysupport,andthelearn- ing curve.Throughquantitativebenchmarksandexperiencereportsfromthe developer,thisresearchhighlightsthestrengthsandlimitationsoftherespective framework.Theresultsaimtoassistdevelopersandorganizationsinchoosingthe most appropriatetoolfortheirspecificneeds,takingintoaccountfactorssuchas application complexity,requiredplatformcoverage,andavailabledeveloperexper- tise. Thefindingsandconclusionsofthisstudyarediscussedindetail,providing a nuancedunderstandingofhowFlutterandReactNativestandincomparison when deployedinreal-worlddevelopmentscenarios.Measurementsweremostly done onAndroid,withiOSonlyprovidingalimitedamountofdata.Fromthere- sults, itmustbesaidthatthereisnooverwhelmingfavoriteastowhichframework is better.Therearesomehintsinthedata,though,thatsuggestsomeadvantages in certainscenarios.Thegeneralconclusion,ifthereisnopriorexperienceatall, wouldbetochooseFlutteroverReactNative,buttherearealotmorefactors that couldinfluencethisdecision.
