| Kurzfassung | The goal of this thesis is to add transparently distributed system functionality to the ATHOMUX operating system. As a proof of concept, we present prototype implementations of network related bricks, most notably remote_* and bricks generating network transparent views. Building upon this, we demonstrate that the goal of this thesis can be achieved.
