| Abstract | Diese Diplomarbeit präsentiert eine Web Service API für die Erweiterung einer Provisioning-Engine. Diese Web Service API ist in vier voneinander unabhängige Bereiche aufgeteilt. Die Operationen der Web Service API werden anhand von SOAP-Beispielen beschrieben. Weiterhin wird ein Prototyp vorgestellt, der eine Provisioning-Engine (Sun N1 SPS) mit der Web Service API erweitert. In diesem Prototyp sind auch BPEL-Prozesse enthalten, die mit der Web Service API arbeiten. WS-RF wurde in diesen BPEL-Prozessen verwendet, um mit der Provisioning-Engine installierte Software als WS-Ressourcen verfügbar zu machen.
