Abstract

This thesis is about optimization of integration in production floors. There is implemented a service-oriented manufacturing service bus based on Open ESB for integrating all necessary systems in production. The proof of concept is done in the Learning Factory (Lernfabrik) of the Institute IFF (Institute für Industrielle Fertigung und Fabrikbetrieb) at the Universität Stuttgart.
