Abstract

The topic of this diploma thesis is the model-based development of multi-touch user interfaces. In order to achieve this goal a taxonomy of user interactions is created, that links them with various value types used within the model. Based on this taxonomy a model is created, that, compared to the models of many other development environments, is designed to be used by end-users and supports the description of multi-touch applications. In the process of modelling, the user can define data types and controls to interact with this data types, as well as the order of the controls. In order to prove that these conditions are met by the presented model, an exemplary architecture for the realization of this model is drawn up, as well as the application EDT4MT, which implements the presented architecture prototypically. Hence to be able to review the modelled applications, the application EDT4MT also offers the possibility to interpret and executethe defined modells.
