Kurzfassung | Adaptability is a key feature of service-based applications (SBAs). Multiple approaches for adaptability, including those borrowed from the tradi-tional workflow technology, can be used to react to various types of changes in the SBA’s environment. Unlike previous fragmented research, we aim at pre-senting a unified view reflecting the convergence of approaches from require-ments engineering, online testing and adaptation mechanisms for service com-positions. The main result of our approach is that a dynamic binding strategy known from service composition research leads to an interaction of the re-quirements engineering and online testing activities with an enterprise service registry only and, therefore, to a loose coupling between the three activities.
