Abstract

In the Internet of Services many companies work together in interorganizational business processes. For the resulting ad-hoc business interaction it is necessary to align business processes of the business partners, especially in communcation processes. These business processes can be partly standardized, but need to be slightly adapted for several similar use cases by the involved companies. This fosters adaptability and reuse for the business partners. We present an approach for adaptive business process modeling in the Internet of Services (ABIS) which allows creation of adaptable process templates. These templates are then used to create variants of processes allowing companies to work together in an interorganizational setting.
