Kurzfassung | Context-aware systems adapt their functionality and behavior to the user and his or her situation. To do so, they need context information about the user’s environment, e.g., about different kinds of real world objects. To model and manage context information, many systems have been developed. An important part of context that is often neglected is the state and context of the applications that users are currently executing. The contribution of this paper is to present an extension for a standard context model that allows the representation of the context of workflow based applications. By that, business process management environments are enabled to annotate their context and provide it for other context-aware applications and users.
