Abstract | To help experts evaluate experiments in the field of two phase flow in porous media, image processing like filtering, denoising and feature extraction are implemented. The implemented methods cover global features such as interfaces between fluids and spatial features like fill levels and branching. To extract spatial features two space filling graphs are implemented. The graphs are also used as a representation of the whole timeseries in one image, which makes it comparable to other timeseries with different parameters and numbers.
