Abstract

In natural language processing the knowledge of coreferences is often crucial for the understanding of the text. The manual annotation of a text with coreference information is a challenging task. This work addresses the visualization of links in a document and present an approach to reduce the effort for the annotator. The main idea is to use a graph-based link visualization and efficient interaction techniques for the annotation. The performance of the new visualization is evaluated with in a user study.
