Package Terminal_IO provides a set of functions for interating with a video terminal under VAX/VMS. The terminal type is specified in a call to the Initialize routine. All input comes from STANDARD_INPUT and all output goes to STANDARD_OUTPUT. The following subprograms are provided: Output routines: Clear_Line Clears from the cursor to the end of the line Clear_Screen Clears from the cursor to the end of the screen Set_Cursor Place cursor at a given row and column Input routines: Read Read a line from the terminal with echo Blank_Read Read a line from the terminal without echo Query routines: Max_Row Returns the number of rows on the terminal screen Max_Column Returns the number of columns on the terminal screen NEW_ABSTRACTIONS is used by NOSC/WIS tools 4.1.1 and 4.1.2.
