ABSTRACT

ASSET_A_317: ASSET Submittal Guidelines for NSRD, Version 1.0
This document provides information needed to submit directory
listings for inclusion in ASSET's National Software Reuse Directory
(NSRD). The NSRD is an electronic catalog, which allows selective
searches and provides down-loadable files of information. NSRD is
accessible via internet or dial-up modems through ASSET, and is
available to anyone with an ASSET account.
The assets advertised in NSRD include information on software reuse
libraries, and organizations or individuals providing software reuse
products and services. In addition, it contains listings for individual
reusable software products and reuse services. Listings will include
software products in the public domain, as well as proprietary software
products, and reuse information and services offered for sale or license
by the advertisers.
