ASSET_A_336: Reuse Education Workshop Proceedings, September 1992 The purpose of the workshop was to identify and outline the education and training necessary for managers, system engineers, and educators in government, industry, and academia to make widespread reuse a reality. To help structure the outcome of the workshop we established five working groups addressing: o Software Reuse in Computer Science Courses, chaired by Dr. Frances VanScoy from West Virginia University o Domain Analysis, chaired by Dr. Bill Frakes from Virginia Tech Software Engineering Guild o Systems Analysis and Design for Reuse, chaired by Dr. Charles McKay from the Univ Houston - Clear Lake o Libraries/Environments for Software Engineering, chaired by Dr. Dave Eichman from the Univ Houston - Clear Lake (formerly from WVU) o Management Level Training. chaired by Mr. Bob Saisi from DSD Labs The primary audience of this report is computing faculty at colleges and universities, where the term "computing" includes computer science, software engineering, and computer engineering.
